I will never divest myself of that childhood instinct to frolic in the nature of the everyday. In my everyday, the most commonplace, forgotten moments are as treasured and examined as the grandiose. And in my artwork, such wonder at the possibility of things is shown in its own right, or dragged kicking and screaming to be wonder for others. I'm generous like that.
Since earning my BFA, my work has graced many bastions of creativity: children's books, educational materials, roleplaying games, collectible card games, real life armchair treasure hunts, geeky t-shirts, fantasy magazines, and paperback fiction.
I also makes a mean spiced chai, can feather a bulls-eye at 100 yds, and plan to build a bamboo bicycle when I find some of my long-lost free time. I live in the Chesapeake Bay watershed for now, with a lovely human companion, a cat named Cinnamonopteryx, and a snake named Igor.
